1. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to our digital courses, coaching programs, group and individual coaching services, events, webinars, and add-on tools provided by us via an online platform (collectively, the "Services"), the www.sellerfinancingacademy.com, www.meldorman.com, and www.justkeepitrealestate.com websites (collectively, the "Websites"), and other interactions you have with us (e.g., customer service inquiries).

By accessing the Websites, using our Services, or providing information to a Seller Finance Academy representative, you are giving us your consent to collect, use, and disclose your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, then do not access or use the Services, the Websites or any other aspect of our business. For the avoidance of doubt, this is the only privacy policy that applies to us.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that you provide directly to third parties, including via links appearing in the Services, Websites, or any other third-party products, services or businesses that will provide their services under their own terms of service and privacy policy ("Third-Party Services").

Information you provide through the Services. We collect information you provide when you register for an account, sign up for or make purchases through the Services, and inquire about pricing. For example, you provide contact information (e.g., name, phone number, mailing address, email address, company name if applicable), when you register for the Services.

Additionally, we collect information about you when you post, send, receive, and share such information via the Services. This may include information about third parties such as seller information, property address, and other deal information provided by you via intake forms, applications, surveys, homework, coaching worksheets, Student Success Advisor meetings, curriculum coaching partner interactions, deal trackers, and posts in our private community forum. We process this information solely to provide the services.

Content you provide through our Websites. We collect content that you submit to our Websites, which include social media or social networking websites operated by us.

Content you provide as a prospective customer. For our prospects, we may collect your name, email, phone number, application responses, webinar registration details, survey and quiz responses, sales-call notes, social media handles when prospects engage, and marketing engagement data (e.g. opens, clicks, ad interactions).

Information you provide through our support channels. The Services also include customer support, where you may submit inquiries or other information regarding a problem you are experiencing with a Service. Whether you open a support ticket, speak to one of our representatives directly or otherwise engage with our support team, you will be asked to provide contact information, a summary or description of the problem you are experiencing, and any other documentation, screenshots or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.

Payment information you provide. We collect payment and billing information when you register for certain paid Services. This information includes your name, email, phone, mailing address; business name if enrolling as a business entity; program and payment-plan details; and payment information that is processed by our secure third party payment solutions provider.

Information we collect automatically. We automatically collect information about you when you use our Services, including browsing our websites and taking certain actions within the Services.

Your use of the Services. We collect information about your use, operation, and interaction with any of our Services, including when you connect third party services to or use those services with ours.

Seller Finance Academy and our third-party partners, such as our advertising and analytics partners, use cookies and other tracking technologies (e.g., web beacons, device identifiers and pixels) to provide functionality, to recognize you across different Services and devices, or to demonstrate that certain content was viewed or clicked.

Some of our Services may leverage generative artificial intelligence or machine learning tools.

To develop and improve our Services. We are always looking for ways to make our Services more useful. We use information and collective learnings (including feedback) about how people use our Services to improve our Services and to develop new products and features that benefit our users.

To communicate with you about the Services. We use your contact information to send transactional communications via email and within the Services, including confirming your purchases, reminding you of subscription expirations, responding to your comments, questions and requests, and providing customer support.

To conduct marketing and promotional activities. We use information about you and how you use the Services for analysis, research and communications relating to marketing (including targeted advertising of products that may interest you), promotional activities, and business development. We may use your contact information and information about how you use the Services to send promotional communications that may be of specific interest to you, including by email, SMS, and by displaying ads on other companies' websites and applications. Partners. We work with a group of partners who provide consulting, implementation, training and other services around our Services. Additionally, with your consent, we may record coaching calls for quality control.

We may disclose information about you to government authorities, law enforcement, or industry peers if we believe that sharing is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, or legal obligation, (b) enforce the terms of our agreements and our policies, (c) protect the security or integrity of our Services, (d) protect us, our customers or the public from harm or illegal activities, or (e) respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person.

Community forums. In some instances, our Services offer access to privately accessible community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide on these websites — including profile information associated with the account you use to post the information — may be read, collected, and used by any member of the blog who has access to it. Your posts and certain profile information may remain even after you terminate your account. We urge you to consider the sensitivity of any information you input into these Services. To request removal of your information from community forums operated by us, please contact us as provided below. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to and why.

5. How We Secure Information

We use technical and organizational security measures to secure the information we process (e.g. company access controls, employee and contractor confidentiality obligations, third party risk management controls, data encryption). While we implement safeguards designed to protect your information, no security system is impenetrable and due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our systems or otherwise in our care, is absolutely safe from intrusion by others.

We may retain information pertaining to you for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy (such as to provide the Services and to provide customer support).
